Extension Request

You have reached this page because you have chosen to seek additional time to correct violations that were noted on our recent inspection of your LP equipment.

We understand that sometimes even the best plans are subject to unexpected delays, and are willing to work with you by granting more time if you need it to get corrections made. Before submitting your extension request, please take note of the following:

Extension requests must be made prior to the scheduled re-inspection date. Requests that are submitted after the inspector arrives to do a re-inspection will not be considered.
Approval of extension requests is not guaranteed, especially for those with a critical safety concern. If you do not receive written or email confirmation that your request has been approved you should not assume that an extension is in place.
We may request documentation to support your request.
No extensions will be given for US DOT (49 CFR) violations. These items are under the authority of US DOT and NC Motor Carrier Enforcement. Our inspection results are available to them, but we have no control over their enforcement actions.
