Description: This feature class contains features mapped to represent Spectrum handholes. The GIS data herein have all been surveyed by SGS during Phase II and Phase III. All data herein are identified as to their source (Scanned Hardcopy Plan, AutoCAD data, NCAGR Redline Drawing, and GPS Survey).NCAGR located/SGS surveyed the copper cable line owned by Spectrum. In addition to this copper cable line, there is a Spectrum owned fiber optic line that runs separate from the Spectrum owned copper cable line that was installed in a separate project ten years later. Despite repeated calls to NC 811, Spectrum did not come to the Fairgrounds to locate the fiber optic line and this line cannot be located by NCAGR. The Spectrum fiber optic line has therefore not been surveyed by SGS and does not exist in this inventory. That said, the two Spectrum owned pedestals that represent the start point and end point of the fiber optic line were surveyed by SGS and exist in this inventory. This fiber optic line initiates and ends at roughly the same location as the Spectrum copper cable line, however the route that it follows is not the same as the Spectrum copper cable line.
